Is this really plug-and-play — do we need our own developers?+
Yes. We build, host, and maintain the configurator, and hand your team one small piece of code that adds it to any page on your existing website, online store, or CMS. No development work is required on your side for our standard service. If your team wants a deeper, custom connection into your own internal systems, we can offer that too.
What platforms and website builders does it work with?+
It works with Shopify, WooCommerce, Webflow, WordPress, custom-built websites, and dealer or partner portals. Because it runs directly in the browser, it is not tied to any particular website platform.
Do we need existing product designs, or can you create them from scratch?+
Either works. If you already have product designs, drawings, or 3D files, we prepare them for the web. If you only have photos or spec sheets, our team creates the digital version from scratch as part of the project.
Should we use a 2D or a 3D configurator?+
It depends on the product. If the shape of the product matters to the buying decision — a car, a sofa, a pair of shoes — 3D is worth it. If the product is really sold as a flat design — a printed T-shirt, packaging artwork, a trade show banner — a 2D configurator gives customers the same live-pricing and enquiry experience for a lower cost and a faster build. We help you decide during our first conversation, rather than defaulting to the more expensive option.
Can we see a live demo before committing?+
Yes. Five live demos — footwear, eyewear, automotive, and furniture in 3D, plus a cross-industry 2D demo — are ready to try right now on our demo gallery, with more industries in active development. Use the "View Demo Gallery" button on this page to try them yourself, or book a call and we will walk you through one live.
Which industries is this suited to?+
Any business selling a product that comes in different options — colour, material, size, or add-ons. We have worked on builds across vehicles, furniture, fashion, jewellery, industrial equipment, property, and consumer electronics; see the Industries We Serve section below for the full list.
How does pricing and quoting work inside the configurator?+
We set up pricing that matches your real costs — per-option pricing, bundles, regional price lists, and volume discounts — so the running total shown to the customer is accurate. A finished configuration can trigger an automatic quote, a checkout, or a lead sent straight to your sales team, depending on how you sell.
How long does a configurator project take?+
A focused, single-product configurator using your existing designs typically takes 4–6 weeks. Larger builds covering several products or requiring new designs from scratch take 8–12 weeks. Every project starts with a short first call to confirm the timeline for your specific product range.
Will it slow down our website?+
No — we build and test it to the same performance standards as the rest of your website, so it will not slow things down for your visitors.
Is this a one-off project or an ongoing service?+
It is an ongoing service by default. We host the configurator, keep an eye on its performance, roll out updates whenever your product range changes, and review what customers are choosing with you regularly — so your team never has to manage any of the technical side.
