Nexus Corp · Brand, Website & Ecommerce Development

In Short

Brand, Website & Ecommerce Development is Nexus Corp’s service for building a complete brand identity — logo, colours, and visual system — alongside the website or online store that carries it, on Shopify, WooCommerce, or a fully custom build, delivered and supported as one project instead of three separate suppliers.

What Is Brand, Website & Ecommerce Development?

What It Is

A complete brand identity — logo, colours, type, and visual system — plus the website or online store that carries it, designed and built together.

Who It Is For

New businesses that need a brand from scratch, and established ones whose logo, website, or online store no longer match where the business is now.

How You Get It

One project, one team, one point of contact — from the first logo concept through to a live, hosted website or store.

Three Capabilities. One Team.

Commission all three together, or just the one you need — each is scoped and priced on its own too.

Brand Identity

Your logo, colour palette, typography, and the visual rules that hold them together — so everything from your website to your invoices looks like it belongs to the same business.

Best For

New businesses starting from scratchRebrands & repositioningMulti-location or franchise brand consistency

How it works: Delivered as a brand guideline document plus source files, so any future designer can stay on-brand without you.

Website Design & Development

A custom-designed, custom-built website — not a generic template — matched to your brand identity and built to load quickly and work on every device.

Best For

Company & service websitesLanding pages & campaign sitesPortals and gated content sites

How it works: Designed around your actual content and goals first, then built in code — not assembled from a page-builder template.

Ecommerce Development

An online store built on Shopify, WooCommerce, or a fully custom cart — product catalogue, checkout, payments, and shipping, all working together.

Best For

Shopify & Shopify Plus storesWooCommerce storesCustom cart & headless commerce

How it works: Built on the platform that fits your catalogue size and complexity, not whichever one we prefer to sell.

Platforms We Build On

We recommend the platform that fits your catalogue and goals — never the one that happens to be easiest for us.

ShopifyShopify PlusWooCommerceCustom / Headless Commerce

Eight Capabilities. Built In.

Logo & Visual Identity

A logo system that works everywhere — favicon, social avatar, print, and full-size — not just one file that only looks right at one size.

Colour & Type System

A defined colour palette and typography scale, so every page and every designer after us stays consistent.

Custom Website Design

Designed around your actual content and customers, not a generic template with your logo dropped on top.

Shopify & Shopify Plus

Custom theme development, app integration, and migration onto Shopify for growing and enterprise stores.

WooCommerce Development

Custom WordPress and WooCommerce builds for stores that want full control over hosting and extensions.

Custom Cart & Checkout

A fully custom or headless commerce build for catalogues or checkout flows that an off-the-shelf platform can’t handle.

Product Catalogue & Merchandising

Product data, variants, collections, and search set up so customers can actually find what they’re looking for.

Payments & Fulfilment Integration

Connected to the payment gateways, shipping carriers, and stock systems you already use — not a workaround.

Six Specialist Service Lines. One Delivery Team.

How It Works

From First Conversation to Live Site.

1

Discovery & Brand Direction

  • · Understand your business, customers, and what "on-brand" needs to mean
  • · Agree scope: brand identity, website, ecommerce store, or all three

What you get: A scoped plan covering what gets designed and built, and on which platform.

2

Brand Identity Design

  • · Logo concepts, colour palette, and typography developed and refined with you
  • · A written brand guideline so the identity stays consistent after we hand it over

What you get: A finished brand identity — logo files, colour codes, type system, and guideline document.

3

Website or Store Design

  • · Page and store layouts designed around your actual content and product catalogue
  • · Reviewed with you before a single line of code is written

What you get: Approved designs for every key page or store template, ready to build.

4

Build & Integration

  • · Development on Shopify, WooCommerce, or a fully custom build, per the agreed platform
  • · Payments, shipping, and any existing systems connected during the build

What you get: A working website or store on a staging environment, ready for review.

5

Testing & Launch

  • · Cross-device and cross-browser testing, including checkout flows for stores
  • · Performance checks so the site loads quickly on an ordinary connection

What you get: A live, production website or store.

6

Managed Support & Growth

  • · Ongoing hosting, monitoring, and updates once the site is live
  • · Conversion and performance improvements reviewed with you on a regular basis

What you get: A site that keeps working — and keeps improving — without your team managing the technical side.

Why It Moves the Numbers That Matter.

Independent industry research on brand consistency and ecommerce design consistently points to four outcomes:

One Brand, Everywhere

Industry research consistently links consistent branding across every channel to measurably higher revenue than inconsistent branding.

Fewer Abandoned Carts

A checkout built for your actual products, not forced into a generic template, removes the friction that causes customers to leave at the last step.

Faster Load, Better Ranking

Custom-built sites, tuned for real performance, tend to load faster and rank better than page-builder templates carrying unused code.

One Team, Not Three Suppliers

Brand, website, and store built together means nothing gets lost in translation between separate designers, developers, and platform specialists.

Why Nexus for Brand, Website & Ecommerce Development

  • Brand identity and the website or store that carries it, designed by the same team — nothing gets lost in handoff between a design studio and a development shop
  • We recommend Shopify, WooCommerce, or a custom build based on your catalogue and goals — never the platform that happens to be easiest for us to resell
  • The same engineering team that builds your brand and store also builds your 2D & 3D product configurators, AI automation, and business systems — one accountable contract
  • Managed as an ongoing service by default: hosting, monitoring, and updates included, not a one-off handover
  • UK-based delivery with brand and ecommerce work shipped across hospitality, legal, wellness, and B2B clients — see the portfolio below

Selling a product with colour, material, or size options? Add a 2D & 3D Product Configurator directly into the store we build — see a live configurator demo.

FAQ

Brand, Website & Ecommerce Development FAQ

Still have a question? Contact us

Do you design the brand identity and the website together, or separately?+

Most clients do both together, since the website is usually the first place a new or refreshed brand identity actually gets used. But they’re scoped and priced separately too — you can commission just a logo and brand identity, or just a website build for a brand you already have.

Should we use Shopify, WooCommerce, or a custom build?+

It depends on your catalogue and how much control you need. Shopify suits most growing stores that want a managed platform. WooCommerce suits stores that want full control over hosting and content on WordPress. A custom or headless build is for catalogues, pricing logic, or checkout flows that an off-the-shelf platform genuinely can’t handle. We’ll recommend one on the first call, not by default.

Can you migrate our existing store to a new platform?+

Yes. We handle migrations between Shopify, WooCommerce, and custom platforms, including product data, customer records, URL mapping, and redirects, so search rankings and customer accounts carry over rather than starting from zero.

Do you use page builders and templates, or custom code?+

We design and build custom — your site is designed around your actual content and brand, then built in code. We are not assembling a stock template with your logo swapped in.

Can a 2D or 3D product configurator be added to our store?+

Yes — this is a natural pairing. If your product has configurable options (colour, material, size), we can add a 2D or 3D product configurator directly into the store we build. See our 2D & 3D Product Configurators service for what that looks like, or view a live demo from this page.

How long does a brand identity and website project take?+

A brand identity alone typically takes 3–5 weeks. A custom website or Shopify/WooCommerce store typically runs 6–10 weeks depending on catalogue size and integrations. Combined brand-plus-website projects usually run 8–14 weeks. Every project starts with a scoped discovery call to confirm timeline.

Do you handle ongoing support after launch?+

Yes, by default. We host, monitor, and update the site, and review performance and conversion with you on a regular basis — this is delivered as an ongoing service, not a one-off handover.

Is SEO included in a website or store build?+

Technical SEO fundamentals — page speed, clean URLs, structured data, mobile responsiveness — are built in as standard on every site. Ongoing SEO content strategy and link building are available as a separate, scoped engagement.

How much does this cost?+

Pricing varies by scope — a brand identity, a website, an ecommerce store, or all three, and the size of the catalogue or content involved. We do not publish prices publicly; book a strategy call for a scoped quote.
